After writing a collection of short stories published on a student magazine, there was a sense of understanding magical realism as a literary genre. However, there is a post-world appropriation of where the Cultural meaning behind the genre comes from. In this talk, we explore the history of Latin America as the birth of the genre, and we call to a re-appropriation for Latin artists.
