sleep walker
In "SleepWalker," Zara's insomnia turns into a waking nightmare as she discovers blood on her clothes, leading her to suspect that she has become a murderous puppet under the control of an unknown force during her sleep.
For the horror short film "SleepWalker," I explored the eerie and unsettling realm of sleepwalking and its potential for horror. The narrative follows Zara, who, plagued by insomnia, starts to experience bizarre and violent episodes. As she grapples with the terror of discovering bloodstains on her clothes, she suspects that an unknown force is controlling her actions while she sleeps.
Filmed with an emphasis on atmospheric tension and psychological dread, "SleepWalker" delves into the fragility of the human mind and the horrors that can emerge from within. This project allowed me to experiment with close-ups and a haunting sound design to amplify the sense of unease, making "SleepWalker" a gripping exploration of fear and vulnerability.
Filmed in Savannah, Georgia.
